Low protein wheat can be bought at discounted prices and will be priced
between corn and wood pellets . Discounts can vary and the discounts
are for every 1/5 th of each percent or point. Example: 14 % protein
wheat needed for top price and farmer hauls in a load that is 13%, that
discount now ( 15 cents per 1/5 point down to 13% = 75 cents off the base price).
So lets say $5 wheat is discounted down to $4.25 per bushel. This can be
substantial savings to your heating bill. Example: if some farmer has 12%
wheat the price would be $3.50 per bushel. Check it out if you want
to save on your heating bill.

Comment from a customer: After two seasons, We have paid for more than
2/3rds of the stove with the savings on propane. Each of those two years
we have used about 300 gallons of propane, compared to our 10 year average
of 900 gallons. We have always had a propane furnace backup in the house
and my woodshop. The shop is heated with wood which we harvest on our
land. As we grow older (we're 70 now) the harvesting of wood is becoming a
bit more difficult each year. Getting up at midnight to start the fire in the
shop (in order to save propane) is also getting more tiresome
